Help Camp Sabroske

Camp Sabroske, located in Oak Harbor, OH has encountered a great deal of flooding and as result, had significant revenue loss.  They are seeking donations to help fund the cleanup and restoration of their beautiful campgrounds.  Due to the extensive mud water damage, they're currently only open for limited camping. If you'd like to donate, visit their funding site: You Caring.   If you would like more information, please visit the MWD news page by clicking: MWD news: Help Camp Sabroske

Seed Potatoes Help Feed Appalachia

When a family receives a ten-pound bag of potatoes, they may be able to eat them for a week or two. But when a family receives a bag of seed potatoes, they can raise their own crop, and then have food to eat for months.  The society of St. Andrew, who  takes pride in being committed to feeding America's hungry more efficiently and effectively than any other hunger relief organization, has written a blog post detailing exactly how they've done that using seed potatoes.  See the full blog post, linked here!
