United Methodist Family Day at the Lucas County Fair

Church Families of the Maumee Watershed will be serving in multiple ways on Sunday July 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We will host a fun scavenger hunt in which participants will seek out the  family activities throughout the fair grounds.  Your church family is being invited to develop simple crafts or games in which children with their parents can participate in.   Each church will be assigned to spaces throughout the fair grounds.  Tables and chairs will be provided.  We are expecting to serve 400 or more families.  This is a great opportunity to pull out old VBS craft ideas, and games. You are also invited to promote your church, its programs, and missions.  Bring a sign, pamphlets, etc.  At 4:00 p.m. we will gather together for worship.

We are on a time crunch, but felt it was an amazing opportunity for our churches. We need to hear from you by Friday, June 12th.

There will be a sign up sheet on Monday June 8th at the West Pavilion between 5:30-7:30 during our Ice Cream Social at Annual Conference. To connect with someone for more information on the Family Day at the Lucas County Fair, click here!

Please prayerfully consider being a part of this great opportunity.

MWD Office Closed for Annual Conference
