Click here for interesting reading and a lot of info. Thank and praise God for an organization who feeds the hungry. Like Tater says, "The more hands the lighter the work." We provide a serving of food for about two cents.

Did you know that 96.9 cents out of every dollar given to the Society of St Andrew goes to feed the hungry? We could not do what we do without people like you.   Please share this information.

Go 'n Glow

A Community Safety Event

Halloween is such a fun night for children and their parents, we want to make sure it is also a safe night.

So, on Wednesday October 29, 2014

Hope United Methodist Church at 4069 Sylvania Ave.,

across from the Mall, will be passing out Glow Sticks and treats to area children from 3:00-5:00 pm.

The Toledo Fire Department will be on hand with a truck and crew to assist with the distribution.

Our goal is to make children more visible when they

head out on Halloween, by providing them with a pin on

glow stick.  And what kid doesn't love glow sticks?

In addition to checking out the Fire Truck and collecting treats,

there will also be coffee, hot cider, and doughnut holes for the parents.

Thursday, Oct 30- 7pm at Fayette High School
Doors open at 6:30pm General Admission- $12
Sponsored by the Fayette United Methodist Church.

Free Organ - Hammond A 100

One of our residents has an organ to "adopt out".  It appears to be a Hammond A-100 in good condition.  Because of moving and space considerations, they are working on a pretty tight timeline.  Call Rev. Bill Barnard (419-865-7816) and I will put them in touch with the resident's daughter.

Here is what she wrote:

We are needing to give away our family Hammond organ. It has been in the family for many years. About four years ago we had someone come and do maintenance on it such that it works very well. Would be glad to let someone interested in owning it, come and play it at Swan Creek Retirement Village. We need to have it moved on or before November 1. We are not asking anything for it. Thanks!

Sincerely,

Casey Smith
