A Reception for Rev. Marla Brown
A Reception on Sunday, June 1st from 3-5 PM at Church of the Cross, 1750 Eastgate Rd. Toledo. Rev. Marla Brown has faithfully served the Maumee Watershed District as its Superintendent for six years. We have come to know her as Spiritual leader, disciple, and friend. Marla has made a tremendous impact on our lives, churches, District, and the Kingdom of God. Marla will be retiring this June at Annual Conference. We hope you will all come to this informal gathering and share in the opportunity to bring Marla a card and wish her a wonderful journey with Christ into her retirement journey. |

Have a FILL A TRUCK DAY
and Be a Community Hero!
With the changing of the seasons comes the event known around the world as spring house cleaning! Yes, the cleaning of basements, closets, and spare rooms will begin soon. At the Toledo Gospel Rescue Mission we also refer to this as "Fill A Truck Season". It's the opportune time for your church, business, or civic-minded organization to encourage your associates to get involved in helping their community. Click here for Flyer. Hosting a Fill A Truck Day is a very simple and effective way to help those in need. It's easy to set up a Fill A Truck event by calling 419-244-8561 and speaking to Glen, the Mission Mall Manager. Once a date and times are set with him, he will notify the office and we can send you a flyer and/or bulletin insert via email so that you can begin promoting it with the people within your organization. Donors love Fill A Truck Days because they can participate in helping those in need by bringing their donation of clean, usable clothing, household goods, etc. to a place where they are already going-thus saving them a trip downtown. You can be a community hero by booking a Fill A Truck event today! Click here to visit our website. |
