TAM Celebrating FYN 40th Birthday At Annual Meeting!

Please join us for the Toledo Area Ministries 2013 Annual Meeting Thursday, March 20, 2014, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Sylvania United Church of Christ, 7240 Erie Street, Sylvania along with the Feed Your Neighbor 40^th Anniversary Celebration.

We will have a short business meeting including: election of officers and trustees; annual finance report; and proposed bylaw changes.

iShine Concert for

Pre-Teens coming to

Fort Wayne on March 8th

The 2014 iShine Live concert tour coming to our area in March. iShine Ministries reaches pre-teens/tweens (ages 7-13) with the truths of who they are in Christ, encouraging them to live in that reality and to not be afraid to stand up for and value those things which are noble and right.

World Day of Prayer

Streams in the Desert
The World Day of Prayer is a worldwide movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year, and who, in many countries, have a continuing relationship in prayer and service.

World Day of Prayer is marked every year on the first Friday in March. In 2014 that's March 7. You are also welcome to hold your service on another day that weekend, or at a time that's convenient for your community, in symbolic solidarity with women around the world. Click here.

Wanted: Keyboard and Lead Guitar

Description: Starting a dynamic, new church service in Toledo.

Keyboard player play chords off of a chart and be able to play around within chords and keys to fill out a song.

Lead guitar needed to add riffs and some solos to give texture and add direction to songs. (Primarily pentatonics, but others can be used based on specific songs, comfort and skill level).

When: Service-Every Sunday beginning March 2nd @ 11:11

Practice - Every Thursday @ 7:00pm

Where: Church of the Cross, 1750 Eastgate Rd, Toledo, OH 43614.

Compensation: No monetary compensation. Great opportunity to participate in worship, and gain experience playing in front of others.
