Create in Me a Clean Heart

Daily Devotions

and Giving Program for 2014

In 2014, commit to a daily time of study, reflection, prayer, and giving during the season of Lent, the 40 days (plus seven Sundays) leading up to Easter, using devotional materials prepared by Society of St. Andrew.

Join with hundreds of congregations and thousands of individuals and families across the country and around the globe. Deepen your faith as you give to provide healthy food for our hungry brothers and sisters through the work of Society of St. Andrew during Lent, March 5-April 19, 2014.

Traditionally, Lent is a season of penitence, a time of asking God's forgiveness for our sins, and seeking a new way of life in Christ, day by day, as we approach the death of Jesus and look forward to his resurrection.

Our 2014 title is Create in Me a Clean Heart, a phrase from Psalm 51:10: Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. In the devotional booklet, you will find daily meditations and prayers that explore the themes of forgiveness and new life in Christ, written by people of deep and abiding faith: pastors and laypersons from many Christian traditions.

Devotional booklets and coin banks are free, and may be ordered in quantity. You may also download a copy of the devotional booklet for your e-reader or sign up to receive each day's devotion by email.

On Thursday, March 6th, from 6:00-8:30pm, Mountain Mentors invites you to mix and mingle at the 2nd Boots and Bikes Benefit at the Blarney Event Center (formerly Bullpen), 601 Monroe Street in downtown Toledo.   Join us for fun with friends, appetizers, auctions, and prizes to benefit Mountain Mentors in its 30th year of mentoring at-risk teens in Toledo.  Hear what students and mentors have to say about the one - two year program.
