UMM Truck YEAR END 2013 GLEANING REPORT
This has been an exciting year for gleaning. We once again we passed the 500,000 mark with a total poundage of 502,437.

The UMMen want to thank all those churches who help keep our truck on the road and encourage other churches to use this ministry as a mission in their church. We could not do the ministry we do without people like you.

Donations for the UMM Truck may be sent to the District Office clearly marked for this ministry or given directly to MWD UMM.

Changing the World One Apple at a Time
Apples at Hoen's, Delta 3
Click here to read Calla Gilson's Blog. She and her family took part in a gleaning last Fall at Hoen's Orchard in Delta OH. Adding their 600 pounds to the 10,480 pounds gleaned by other volunteers totaled 11,080 pounds of apples saved.

Apportionments... with Chuck Knows Church
In the United Methodist Church your gifts to your congregation impacts not only your local church's ministries, but mission and ministry around the world. Chuck explains a little about apportionments on this his SIXTIETH show! (Click on image to view.)
Town and Rural Resource Program invites you to:
The Changing Face of Town & Country Ministry:
MAKING IT WORK!
at two locations: Harmony UMC, Tiffin (EOC) &
Delta UMC, Delta (WOC)
Sat. March 8th, Tiffin
Sun. March 9th, Delta
The reality is-there has been a change in rural ministry in our lifetime. What worked previously, no long-er works today. It is important we understand these changes and their implications for ministry.
Rev. Ed Kail is an outstanding teacher and trainer with his focus on small membership churches, especially in the town & country and rural areas.
He has seen our denomination decline, and the way we think about God, the Church, and ourselves may be contributing to that decline-so is revitalization possible?
If you want to renew and revitalize your church, be sure to bring a team! Click here for more information.
How many lives will your church save?
INM white The West Ohio Conference has joined 45 other Annual Conferences who from across our denomination have come together to save lives by preventing needless deaths from malaria.
Our Conference goal is to save 350,000 lives over the next several years by raising 3.5 million dollars. Many churches have already made a commitment to saving lives through the Imagine No Malaria initiative. Thank you for those commitments; it's why we're almost half way to our goal today!
We invite you and your church to join the West Ohio effort in saving lives!
Click here to read the letter.
Click here for an estimated goal form.

Walleyes offer discounts for church groups

Click Here for a schedule of this season.  Let us know which game you want to attend and will place an order for you when you know how many will be attending. Don't forget that your church will have its name on the video board during the game for recognition as well as opportunities to sing the National Anthem, ride a Zamboni, or have a post-game picture from the ice.

Feel free to give me a call with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Alex
