Dear Teachers,
We hope your holiday and vacation has been rejuvenating. At TpT we're enjoying the break as well, but we're also gearing up for 2013 which we expect to be really great.
To start the year, we're happy to announce that our very first iPhone app is ready to go and awaiting you in the iTunes App Store. The Android version is not far behind and will be ready before the end of January.
For buyers, the app will allow you to search and browse the catalog, add items to your wishlists and shopping carts, access your purchases, download certain file types for offline access and provide feedback. It's great for on-the-run discovery of that perfect resource you need tomorrow (or even next period!). We hope you find it useful.
Sellers are able to track their sales via push sales notifications that make a fun chaching sound, see their recent activity at a glance, respond to comments, answer customer questions and more. We're quite sure you will find it fun and useful.
As our mission is to empower you, we're excited to add this little bit of convenience to your busy lives. We know that it adds up. Have a Happy New Year!!
Teach and be well,
Paul Edelman Founder, TpT

TpT SPOTLIGHT
TpT'er TheThirdWheel has a timely product available called Celebrate the New Year Mini-Unit: Resolutions, Games, and Global Traditions. It has 36 pages and costs $5.00. If it's not exactly right for you, no worries. There are 1000's of other products for the New Year here.
A couple Sundays ago, we pledged to donate 10% of all sales to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. We followed through and sent a check for $8,235 in the name of "The Teachers of the TeachersPayTeachers Community." If you made a purchase that day, or are a seller who donated all of your earnings, thank you very much for your contribution.
MILESTONES
Congrats to the latest sellers to surpass $20,000 in earnings on TpT including Debbie Candau from California who is Sailing Through 1st Grade, 2nd grade teacher Naomi O'Brien from Orlando who wants kids to Read Like a Rock Star, and Jean Martin who is "hooked on creating book club packets"... a great accomplishment by all.
Overall for the 4th quarter of 2012, teachers will see collective sales of over $6,800,000 (in just 3 months!), 440% higher than the same quarter in 2011. Holy life changing numbers for hard working teachers, Batman! Watch out 2013, here we come.
