Get out the Vote!

Greetings!

We believe that it is the duty of every American to cast a vote on Election Day. The right to vote is the cornerstone of our democracy and on Nov. 6 you have the opportunity to make a difference in how we move forward as a country – and the stakes couldn’t be bigger this year. There is no excuse not to vote, so please, get out and vote!

In California, Proposition 32 threatens to silence the political voice of unions. If there is any hope of maintaining a united voice in the world of labor, we must vote this unimaginably destructive proposition down. Michael Hiltzik of the LA Times calls it “a fraud to end all frauds” and he is only one of many voices calling for a “No” vote on Prop 32. We at Labor 411 couldn’t agree more. Find out more here.

The end of October is almost here and that means there is still time to have a little light-hearted fun before Election Day, and we have just the thing.
