Coping with Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease: Telephone Education and Support Group
Registration is currently open for a free 4-week Telephone Education and Support Group. (Group fills up fast, so register early!) Coping with Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease (cGvHD) for the BMT Patient & Survivor is facilitated by Sandra Mitchell, PhD, CRNP, AOCN from the National Institutes of Health. The program will take place 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings starting October 6, 2015 through October 27th, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm (EST) for 10-12 survivors living and coping with the late effects of cGvHD. New Graft Versus Host Disease Webinar for Health Professionals
Stephanie J. Lee, M.D., MPH, will discuss the 2014 NIH Chronic GVHD Consortium consensus recommendations for the diagnosis and care of patients affected by chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and address the impact of chronic GVHD on quality of life. Continuing education credit is available for RNs, social workers, and medical technologists.

Seattle Genetics Announces FDA Regular Approval of ADCETRIS� (Brentuximab Vedotin)
This is the first and only consolidation treatment available for Hodgkin Lymphoma patients who are at high risk of disease relapse of progression and undergo an autologous transplantation. The FDA approval was based on data from a phase 3 clinical trial. See press release to learn more about the positive clinical trial results supporting the use of ADCETRIS as a post-autologous transplant consolidation treatment for these patients.
