Coping with Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease

Are you aware that this webcast is available on our website just a click away? This 30-minute presentation provides an overview of Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease (cGvHD), recommendations for care of the cGvHD patient, and personal reflections from those living with the disease. We want to thank our presenters, Dr. Steven Pavletic, Dr. Sandra Mitchell, and Kate Castro from the National Institutes of Health and patients David and Gerlinde for their contribution to this valuable resource for bone marrow transplant survivors. Peer Support On Call - Reassurance, Understanding, and Support when you need them most.

Peer Support On Call is a free service offered by the National Bone

Marrow Transplant Link. Emotional support is available through one-on-one conversations with trained peer support volunteers who are bone marrow/stem cell tramsplant survivors, caregivers and marrow donors. Since they have been through the transplant experience themselves, they understand the patient's and caregiver's feelings and can provide an empathetic point of view.

If you would like to request a phone call from a peer support volunteer, please call our office at 800-546-5268 and ask for Cindy Goldman, or email her at cindygoldman@nbmtlink.org . Or click on the "Request Peer Support" link in the left hand column under Support Services
