2014 Season Preview
Saco, Maine - Funtown Splashtown USA is preparing for Opening Day of the Ride Park on Saturday, May 10 at 11:00am, the park's 48th season in Southern Maine. The Water Park will open for the season on Saturday, June 14 at 10:00am (all dates and times are weather permitting.)

New areas for a new season
This year, there will be three new venues opening at the park. First up is the Golden Koi Tattoo Parlor. This new location near Dragon's Descent will offer guests glitter and airbrush tattoos.
Also new for this season is the brand-new Maine Red Claws 3-Point Challenge. Funtown Splashtown USA is partnering with Maine's NBA D-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics on this game. Guests will have a limited amount of time to make 3-point shots from multiple points around the half-court. Depending on your skill level, the prizes will be awesome!.
In Splashtown USA, the Observation Deck located near the water park entrance is going to be transformed into the Upper Deck Beer Garden, offering a selection of draft beer and wine, as well as food items. Guests will have spectacular views of Splashtown USA while enjoying a beverage and a hot dog.

More Community Outreach in 2014
For the first time, Funtown Splashtown USA will be holding Community Week, and working with several non-profit organizations to promote and raise money for them. The park's annual Food For Fun Weekend benefiting the Saco Food Pantry will kick things off on Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22.
For the week of June 23 through June 27, the park is already working with four great non-profit organizations:
Monday June 23 - Dyer Library & Saco Museum Tuesday June 24 - KidsPeace New England Thursday June 26 - Animal Welfare Society Friday June 27 - Autism Society of Maine And we are reaching out to our over 50,000 Facebook fans to help us pick the non-profit organization that will benefit on Wednesday June 25. So Many Special Events
Funtown Splashtown USA holds many special events throughout the summer including four blood drives, Mother's Day weekend and Father's Day weekend celebrations, Military Appreciation Days, First Responder Appreciation Days, and many special educational events.
