WHCU Morning Newswatch host Lee Rayburn will be taking bids all day for 13 Wine & Dine packages. Each package includes a case of select wines from an area winery and a $200 gift certificate from an area restaurant. 

Proceeds will support United Way of Tompkins County's work to improve lives. Learn more 

Interested in volunteering? We are seeking upbeat people to take bids over the phone on Friday, March 6 from 5:45-10:15am, 10am-2:15pm, and 2-6:30pm at the radio station. Contact Tom Connors at [email protected] to sign up.
Hunger and Food Security Fund Campaign Underway

In Tompkins County more than 13 percent of the population lives each day with uncertainty about whether they will have enough food for themselves and their family. To address this need, United Way of Tompkins County has expanded the Hunger and Food Security Fund.

Cornell University's United Way is focusing on this initiative through the end of the campaign. Your contribution will make a difference. Please consider making a gift today. 
Hunger Hero Sandwich Competition
to Benefit UWTC's
Hunger and Food Security Fund

We are teaming up with Collegetown Bagels (CTB) and Mayor Svante Myrick for this year's Hunger Hero campaign.

Submit your sandwich idea by Sunday, March 8 and your creation could be available at all CTB locations. 
The Mayor will pick the winning sandwich from the top 3 submissions on Friday March 20, 6-7PM at CTB on Aurora St. The winning creation will be available at all CTB locations.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the winning sandwich will support UWTC's work to address hunger and food insecurity in the community.

Tompkins Connect's 4th Annual Jump On Board brings together young professionals and local not-for-profit organizations to promote volunteer and board positions for emerging leaders.

The 9th Annual Hilltop Jamboree is organized by the Cornell University students in the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality. A portion of the proceeds support United Way of Tompkins County.

At 19 Norah found herself without a place to live and unemployed. Now, she has a full-time job, benefits, and her own apartment. Norah accomplished these goals through the stability of supportive housing, career counseling, an apprenticeship and hard work. Thank you for helping make a difference in her life and our community.
