Food Pantry Ministry
|
Food pantry donations for 2016 started slowly in January, collecting 205 pounds of food that was delivered to Emmaus House. Thank you! We will provide February's donations to The Place in Forsyth County, collecting food each week leading up to the 3rd Sunday (that's this week!). Please Note... thanks to Tom Dillon for an updated list of needs at The Place. Chronic shortages are for hearty/chunky soups, canned or boxed milk, and canned pasta (ravioli, Beefaroni, etc). Other needs include canned vegetables, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, and other items that can be stored for a long period of time. Remember, no glass bottles please. Donations can be placed in the tubs by the Welcome Table in the Narthex. Join in our outreach ministry to local families in need.

Meet & Mingle Fellowship Ministry
| We had a great beginning of our fellowship ministry in 2016 thanks to the gracious hospitality from our hosts. EVERY PARISHIONER is invited to join as many of our meet and mingle gatherings as you would like. These are great opportunities to meet new parishioners and mingle with friends you already know. These can be great times for new members to find a group of parishioners they'll know on Sundays and for those attending different services on Sunday mornings to get to know one another better. Each meet and mingle takes place at a parishioner's home near the church and will include heavy appetizers or often even a full meal. A group sign up is provided and you can choose to come as just a guest or you can volunteer to bring one of the dishes the host lists. Coming dates are listed below. Sign up sheets are at the Welcome Table and a link to signing up online will go out closer to each event's date. For more information contact Sandra Sirmon or Linda Williams (click here)
