The Epiphany of our Lord
January 3, 2016
The Wisemen from the East
This coming Sunday we begin the new calendar year with the anticipation of the Epiphany of our Lord.  Following the star, the three kings arrive in Bethlehem bearing their wondrous gifts for the wondrous child of God.  They left the stable changed for ever by their visit to the newborn King.  How has the Christmas celebration change you?
*** We return to our regular Mass schedule (7:45, 9:00, and 11:15 am)***

Looking Ahead:
Annual Parish Meeting
In just a week's time, we'll gather for our annual parish meeting.  The Knights of Columba will provide a delicious meal for us: smoked Boston pork with all the fixin's!  We will have the opportunity to thank those rotating off vestry, having served a three-year term and we will elect four new members to the vestry.  Those standing for election currently are:  Susan Bruch, Wendy Lambert, Laura Murphy, and Bill Parkinson.
De-Greening of the Church
This Sunday, January 3
Following the 11:15 Mass this coming Sunday, we will be taking down the greens of our Christmas celebration.  Poinsettias may be taken home if you'd like one to keep around for a touch more of the Christmas celebration.  All are welcome to join in as we take down our garland and wreaths.  This project usually takes a little more than an hour.
