If you have any questions please contact Linda Reid ( via email). Thanks to everyone who helped provide gift cards this year!

Christmas Pageant Try-Outs & Rehearsal |

Speaking Role Try Outs 12/13 & 12/20
at 10:00 am in Cottage 102
Our Christmas Pageant is always a big hit at the 5:00 Mass on Christmas Eve. We're looking forward to another great year as our children tell once again the story of Jesus birth.
TRY-OUTS: If you would like a speaking role, try outs will be held the next two Sunday mornings (12/13 and 12/20). Then we will have a rehearsal for all those who have a speaking role on Monday 12/21 from 11;00 am until 1:00 pm. There is NO rehearsal or try out for those not having a speaking role. So if your child wants to be an angel, shepherd, star, animal, etc. they do not need to attend the try-out or the rehearsal. They simply come Christmas Eve between 3:45-4:00 pm and we'll help them get into costume. All children ages 3-12 are welcome to participate in the pageant. A HUGE thank you to Lonna Stachelczyk for coordinating the pageant this year. If you have any questions, please contact her ( via email).

Annual Parish Meeting & Vestry Election
|
Sunday, January 10 at 5:30 pm
Our Annual All-Parish Meeting will take place at 5:30 pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016. We'll begin with dinner (smoked Boston pork shoulder & all the trimmings, provided by the Knights of Columba) and then move into our annual parish meeting. It's an exciting time in the life of the parish as we celebrate the blessings we've all shared in our parish and look into the coming year of new programs, mission opportunities, and growth. During the annual meeting, we will take the opportunity to thank those who have served on vestry for the past three years and will rotate off upon the election of new vestry members. Please join in thanking Dale Humphries, Margie Hutson, Kendra West, and Linda Williams for their outstanding service and sharing of their time and talent in ministry leadership during these past three years. We extend a special thanks to Dale who has also served as our senior warden this past year. If you would like to nominate yourself or another parishioner to be elected to the vestry at the annual meeting, please submit their names to either of the parish wardens (Dale Humphries or Brian Dempsey) by Sunday, January 3 or complete the nomination form found on the parish website. Ours is a 12 member vestry with each member serving a three-year term.

Food Ministry
|
Thanks for the generous food donations in November! A total of 288 pounds of food was collected and provided to The Place of Forsyth County. Thanksgiving and Christmas mean so much to all of us and are certainly times of the year when we consider all of God's blessings. Won't you please help us share with others in order to bring joy into the lives of those in need this time of year? We will be providing December's donations of non-perishable food to The Place of Forsyth County, collecting food each week leading up to the 3rd Sunday of the month (December 20-Breakfast Sunday), which is the official collection day for the month. As always, the biggest needs are for canned soups and vegetables, canned pasta (ravioli, Beefaroni, etc), canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, and anything that can be stored for a long period of time. Donations can be placed in the tubs located next to the welcome table in the narthex-no glass bottles, please. Please begin or continue to help in this effort to assist local families in need-thank you!
