Kirkin O' the Tartans
(see below)
The Knights of Columba will be manning the grills cooking up  brats, burgers, & hot dogs and there will be loads of chili to taste and vote for the 2015 Parish Chili Champion
.  There will even be a bagpiper to help make the festival a bit more 'Scottish" in honor of our patron, St. Columba!

There will be games for the kids, including bounce houses and pumpkin decorating.  We'll have a few of the afternoon football games up on the big screen for some old fashioned tailgating.
You're welcome to bring a dessert to share if you'd like!

It will be a fantastic afternoon you don't want to miss!  See you this Saturday... remember it all begins at 3:00 pm!

Our Festival continues with our first annual "Kirkin' o' The Tartans" celebration Sunday morning.
We'll begin our Scottish celebration with tea and shortbread during the Sunday school hour, and then we'll lay our tartans on the altar rail for them to be blessed during the 11:15 Mass.
St. Columba our patron and evangelist to the Scottish Isle, will certainly rejoice as we give thanks for our family and church roots across the pond.  A bagpiper will add to our celebration!
