2 More Sunday School Teachers Needed
|
 Teachers Needed!!
Sunday school begins Rally Sunday, 13 September, which is just two weeks away. We have a wonderful year lined up, thanks to the leadership of Kristin Weems and Easton Davis. However, we do not have enough teachers as of yet for the coming school year. We need 2 more teachers for the elementary age group (Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program). Please consider volunteering your time in the coming year to assist with one of these two programs. We have lead teachers in each classroom, and are in urgent need for adults who can assist in the class. Contact Kristin, Easton or Father Tripp for more information. Please help keep our youth formation program strong and volunteer to help this coming year!

Serving @ The Place in Forsyth & Emmaus House in Atlanta
In August, we collected a total of 206 pounds that was taken to a very appreciative staff at The Place of Forsyth County! Please be assured that Emmaus House and The Place of Forsyth County are extremely thankful to get our donations each month. With everybody getting back to normal routines, let's have a big push in September and continue through the rest of the year! We will be providing September's donations of non-perishable food to The Place of Forsyth County, collecting food each week leading up to the 3rd Sunday of the month (September 20th - Breakfast Sunday), which is the official collection day for the month. As always, the biggest needs are for canned soups and vegetables, canned pasta (ravioli, Beefaroni, etc), canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, and anything that can be stored for a long period of time. Donations can be placed in the tubs located next to the welcome table in the narthex - no glass bottles, please! Please begin or continue to help in this effort to assist local families in need - thank you!
