The youth mission trip is just around the corner.  Our group has grown to over 80 teenagers with 7 other parish teenagers joining our group.  They will head to Harrisburg, PA June 14-19 as they connect hands of service with the heart of Jesus. 

All parents of teenagers going on the mission trip should this Sunday's meeting if they were unable to attend the meeting last week.

In May, we had another good month of food pantry donations, collecting a total of 240 pounds that was taken to The Place of Forsyth County!  Thank you for continuing your efforts in this critical outreach area.  Summer becomes a critical time for many facing food insecurity, including children who are not benefitting from meals at their school, so your strong donations over these next few months are greatly appreciated!!  We will be providing June's donations of non-perishable food to The Place of Forsyth County, collecting food each week leading up to the 3rd Sunday of the month (June 21st - Breakfast Sunday), which is the official collection day for the month.  As always, the biggest needs are for canned soups and vegetables, canned pasta (ravioli, Beefaroni, etc), canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, and anything that can be stored for a long period of time.  Donations can be placed in the tubs located next to the welcome table in the narthex - no glass bottles, please!  Please begin or continue to help in this effort to assist local families in need - thank you!
