17th Sunday after Pentecost
"The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is amazing in our eyes"
The kingdom of God is built upon Jesus Christ, the Chief Cornerstone.  As Christians, we are called to stand upon our faith and love that comes to us from Jesus Christ.
Where is the cornerstone in your life?  (click here...we use Track 2).

October Food Pantry Drive for Emmaus House

We had a great food pantry response in September, collecting 413 pounds of food that was delivered to The Place of Forsyth County - thank you!!  Beyond the national statistics shared last month, there are alarming numbers in Georgia and our local community as well.  In Georgia, 18.9% of the population (1.87 million people) are food insecure, meaning that they don't always know where they will find their next meal.  Please continue to do what you can to help those in need by bringing in non-perishable food to donate.  Donations can be placed in the tubs located next to the welcome table in the narthex.

Ushers & Greeters Needed

We need women and men to help serve as ushers and greeters on Sunday morning during the 9:00 and 11:15 Masses.
There are four teams, each serving just one Sunday a month.  The time commitment isn't much, but the ministry is crucial to our parish and our ministry of hospitality.
If you'd like more information or if you'd like to volunteer to become an usher, contact John Dangler (click here).
If you'd like to serve as a greeter, contact Margie Hutson (click here).
