Choral Evensong & Benediction
The combined St. Columba Choir and Choristers will sing Choral Evensong and Benediction in just one week, September 28 at 4:00 pm.  A reception will follow.  This beautiful liturgy is the vesper prayer of the church and is enhanced by some of the most beautiful music the world has to offer.  Please plan to attend, and bring a friend!
Acolyte Meeting & Lunch
This Sunday - September 21 @ 12:30 pm
If you are in the 3rd through 12th grade and are currently an acolyte or if you would like to become an acolyte, please join us on September 21 at 12:30pm for a meeting and short lunch.  If you haven't already done so, RSVP via the sign-up genius link (click here).  We need more acolytes to fully fill our rota, especially at the 11:15 Mass.  So now is a great time to get involved and serve!  For more information, contact Kristi Parkinson (click here).

Backpacks of Love Program Resumes

Backpacks of Love is a ministry serving children and their families who are homeless or otherwise in severe need.  Suburban poverty is growing faster in metropolitan Atlanta than it is anywhere else in the country.  Backpacks of Love ministry is vital to helping children not go hungry during the weekend when there is no school meal service available to them.

Your help is needed now more than ever.  Volunteers can sign up to buy food once a month, twice a month, or as a fill-in substitute.

Sign up this Sunday at church or send an email to Kathleen and Ron Kraynick.

Breakfast Sunday
This Weekend, 9/21
8:30-11:00am

The Knights of Columba will be serving breakfast this Sunday from 8:30 until 11:00 am.  The cost is only $3 per person (max $10 per family).      Breakfast is served every month on the 3rd Sunday.  So plan to come a little early for Sunday school or Mass and enjoy some delicious food and heavenly fellowship!

Attention Men of the Parish:  The Knights have openings on all breakfast teams.  Consider joining one of the 6 teams ... teams serve only twice a year, so the time commitment is an easy one to make.  If you have any questions or if you would be able to join one of the breakfast teams, just talk with any of the guys behind the counter this Sunday or contact Nathan Martin.
