Parish Workday Scheduled
Saturday, 12 April from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm
Join us on Saturday, 12 April for a sprucing up of the parish grounds and buildings in preparation of Easter.  We'll be edging, trimming, and planting - so please bring lawn equipment, especially edgers weed eaters.  We'll also assemble the cross forms that will be used for the children's flowering of the Easter cross during the Easter egg hunt.  There will be projects of all sizes and skill levels - so everyone is invited.
***A special thanks to Gordon Ralph, Don Swift III, Scott Doyle, Thom Akins, Brian Dempsey, and all the others who replaced the Sunday school playground.  We had a great turn out of about 15 folks the last few Saturdays.  Many hands indeed made for light work, well maybe not 'light,' but certainly made for the swift completion of a very large project.  During the workday we'll make final adjustments and cleaning of both the front and back playgrounds. ***
Bring Out Your Eggs
Easter Egg Hunt - Holy Saturday, 19 April @ 4:30 pm
We need donations of EasterEggs for the annual EasterEgg hunt that will take place on Holy Saturday at 4:30pm.
We need approximately 1000 pre-filled plastic Eastereggs (please make sure the candy inside contains no nut products).  Please  bring EasterEggs to the church by  Maundy Thursday, April 17.
There will be games, lemonade, cookies, pictures with the Easter bunny, flowering of the Easter cross, and the annual EasterEgg Hunt.  All the fun and activities begin promptly at 4:30 pm.
Outreach Ministry News
After a slow start to the year, we collected 216 pounds of food with the March food drive, which was delivered to The Place of Forsyth County.  We will be providing April's donations to Emmaus House, collecting food each week leading up to the third Sunday of the month (April 20) which is the official collection day for the month.  Biggest needs are canned soups and vegetables, peanut butter, and anything that can be stored for a long period of time.  Donations can be placed in the tub located next to the welcome table in the narthex.  Please begin or continue to help in this effort to assist local families in need - thank you!

The raising of Lazurus from the dead.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"
