Youth Sunday & Parish Luncheon - May 19
This Sunday is the Feast of Pentecost, and for us it's also Youth Sunday.  In thanksgiving for the exploding youth ministries in our parish, we will feature middle and high school teenagers in all aspects of our worship and fellowship this Sunday.  Emma Siegfried, one of our graduating seniors, will preach.  Other teenagers will serve as lectors, ushers, greeters, and chalice bearers.
At 11:15 Mass, we will recognize our graduating seniors and present them with a gift and wish them Godspeed as they prepare for the next steps in their journey.
At 12:30, everyone is invited to stay for a parish luncheon.  The Knights of Columba will be at the grill and in the kitchen providing the hot dogs, hamburgers, and baked beans.  Everyone is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share.  Lunch will be served on the grounds and in the narthex.
Finally, this Sunday will be a chance to thank all of our wonderful teachers for another fantastic year of Sunday school.  We will recognize all teachers at the 11:15 Mass as well.
Youth Ministry continues to grow in huge and amazing ways.  We give thanks to God for all the blessings our children and teenagers bring to the parish, for all the teachers and youth leaders who give of their time week after week, and especially for our Youth Directors, Easton Davis and Zach Perry.
Mark your calendars now and join us this Sunday as we give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit and all the amazing things God is doing in our lives and in our parish!

Summer Schedule - New Mass Times
Begins Memorial Day Weekend (May 26)
This Summer for the first time we will modify our regular Mass schedule.  Beginning Sunday May 26 and continuing through the end of July, we will have 2 Sunday Masses and there will not be a Saturday evening Vigil Mass.
The 8 am Mass will be a said, Rite I Mass (like the 7:45 Mass is now).  The 10 am Mass will be like our 9 and 11:15 Masses, with hymns and music.  The choir will be at the 10am Mass through St. Columba day (June 9) and then will take the summer off, returning in August.

Sundays
8:00 am - Rite I Mass (no music)
10:00 am - Rite II Mass (organ and hymns)
This schedule will be in effect from May 26 through July 28.
