EYC Welcomes Rising 6th Graders This Sunday
May 5 at 1:00 pm - Rain or Shine
Despite predictions of rain, EYC will still meet this Sunday at 1:00 pm and welcome rising 6th graders into the group. Parents are asked to attend an informational meeting while the youth group meets. Lunch will be served. Field Day games have been planned, but in the event of rain, they have a back-up plan and will still meet. Looking forward to seeing everyone (5th through 12th grade) at EYC this Sunday at 1:00 pm.
Adult Forum: "Engaging Scripture"
Sunday Morning, 10:10-11:00 am
Our series on how we read and understand the Bible will continue this Sunday. Last week we discussed three ways we view Scripture (literal, historical, and prophetic meanings). This Sunday and next Sunday we will discuss 7 moments of Jesus life described in the Bible that shaped His life and how those same moments in our own lives shape us as well: birth, baptism, temptation, transfiguration, death, resurrection, and ascension.
Buildings & Grounds Work Continues
May 4 and May 11
This Saturday the group will install the sprinkler system and then next Saturday (5/11) they will lay down new sod. If you have some free time and would like to help, you are most welcome! The more hands they have these two weekends the better. Work begins each Saturday around 9am and lunch is served about noon.
