THIS WEEKEND AT SAINT COLUMBA'S
|
No Vigil Mass This Saturday
A reminder that there will not be a Saturday evening Vigil Mass this weekend. We will have a Vigil Mass on April 13 at 5:30.
A glorious Easter celebration! From Maundy Thursday through the new fire kindled at the Vigil (despite the rain), to the bursting "alleluias" of Easter morning, our celebration of Easter was inspirational and glorious. A tremendous thanks to the flower guild, the Altar guild, the many lectors and ushers who helped make our liturgies such a wonderful witness to the Resurrection of our Lord. Please email or drop off any pictures you may have taken and we will upload them to our website. If you'd prefer, you can upload them directly to our Flickr page. Contact Father Tripp for details ( email link).
A 50 Day Feast. Our Easter celebration continues for the what is known as "the Great 50 days." Beginning with Easter Sunday, our celebration continues through the Ascension (40 days after Easter) up to the Feast of Pentecost (the 5oth Day) which will be 19 May.
