Epiphany Quiet Day/Retreat
Join us for a quiet day retreat January 12, 2013 as we enter celebrate the Epiphany and the showings of God to the world.
We will spend this Saturday exploring the light of God that shines in the world: how we perceive that heavenly light through prayer and study of Scripture as well as how our sacramental life gives us real and tangible ways to be touched by God in transforming ways.
The retreat is open to all men and women of the parish, as well as those from the community.

Financial Peace University @ St. Columba's
|
January 15 - March 12
It's not too late to join St. Columba's offering of Financial Peace University (FPU), a 9 week course developed by personal finance expert Dave Ramsey beginning on Tuesday night, January 15, 2013 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. The course is open to any interested couples or single adults from the parish or the community. It is designed to teach attendees how to manage their money, get out of debt, and build a strong financial future for themselves and their families. This course is not about fancy financial techniques, but about changing your financial behavior as a family and understanding from a Christian perspective how to achieve Financial Peace.
The cost is $89 per family (couple or single adult with an accountability partner) and we have several sets of the course materials that you can pick up and pay for at the first class rather than through the website. For more information or to register for this course, please go to our course website (click here) at or contact the course facilitator, Lane Chambers (email) or 678-994-6071.

We Are Just Over 1/2 towards our goal!
We have received 81 pledges for the coming year, totalling just over $309,000. Our goal is 150 pledging households with a total amount pledged of $450,000. So we are well on our way, but need every household to pledge their support for St. Columba's this year. You can make your pledge online or mail in the pledge card from the packet you received last November.
