Alexian Brothers Women & Children's Hospital

When Alexian Brothers Health System embarked on the construction of a new Women & Children's Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL, they turned to APCO to develop an interior signage program suitable for the state of the art facility.

The new, 7-story, 217,000 sq/ft hospital connects to the existing St. Alexius Medical Center on the 1st floor, adding three new elevators and three new entrances, so a well-planned wayfinding program was critical for successful navigation of the facility.

Introducing Imagine Image Infused Sign Solutions

APCO is excited to announce Imagine, a new eco-friendly, image-infused sign system.

Offering an extensive library of robust images and patterns, Imagine is the ideal way to communicate a brand, reinforce an image-based wayfinding strategy or bring life to an otherwise ordinary design.

What sets Imagine apart is its unmatched modularity and ease of long-term maintenance. With Imagine, the user can not only update the graphics portion of the signs as changes are needed but can easily change the images and patterns as well to create an entirely new look. All Imagine display components are 100% updatable!

2012 was a strong year for APCO, as we added 12 new members to the APCO family and finished off the year with near record sales. Our entire team, at our headquarters in Atlanta and in our sales offices throughout the country, has been working very hard to ensure we're staying at the cutting edge of both products and service. We're adding equipment to broaden our manufacturing capabilities, auditing our internal processes to maximize efficiency and adding new employees to stay ahead of the growth we're continuing to see in 2013.

Debbie Michalski has joined our Texas office, covering Dallas, North Texas, Oklahoma, San Antonio and portions of south Texas from our base in Arlington. Debbie brings with her over 30 years experience in the Architectural and Design market, extensive knowledge of materials and exceptional customer focus. She looks forward to meeting our customers and introducing APCO to those in the A & D Community that may not yet be familiar with us.

In April, Lucy Pereira was appointed Business Development Manager. With thirteen years of varied experience in the sign industry, she has made an immediate impact on sales and is in the process of getting to know all of the APCO representatives around the country.  Based in the Atlanta office, Lucy is responsible for developing new business for the company.
