Note from Kelly ~ As the Sun enters Aries ~ *Spring* Equinox Initiates a new Solar/astrological year. This is a *Universal* RE-Set Button. Clean Slate. New Beginning. This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Cardinal* Family ... Aries *Initiation* ~ Libra *Integration* ~ Cancer/Capricorn *Test/Growth* ~ it can be a little more intense & personal. That said, everyone has Aries Ruling some *Area of Life* (House) and this is where *YOU* get activated at this time, every year. Do you know your rhythm for this? How do you feel every Spring? Aries energy activates the instinctual draw toward change and new beginnings, which is completely natural. Old ways no longer work and you must get out of your comfort zone and experiment with new modes of operating to find what works for you here and now. It's time to *move* again, shake off the sleepiness of Winter. It's an annual Re-Birth that reminds you to honor both the Shadow and the Light, the visible work, done in the Light and often with others ... and ... the invisible work, done in the Shadow, behind the scenes, alone and hidden from view. *Spring* Equinox ~ Vernal Equinox ~ Ostara ~ Each year, we have the third of *8* Sacred Seasons ~ *INITIATING* a Renewal of Life & Light, Re-Birth & Resurrection. Vital energies and resources are now more readily available. It's time to plant seeds and initiate projects that will show promise by *Fall* Equinox. It is the first re-balancing of the Light, coming from predominantly Internal/Dark/Shadow/Fallow time and returning to an External/Light/Fertile time. Spring & Fall represent *Balance* and *Increase*, equal Light & Darkness, equal Day & Night. Sunrise and Sunset are *always* the best time to meditate as the veils between realms are thinner, making communing easier and more productive. Consider the *Solstices* to be Initiation/Integration times and *Equinoxes* to be times of Change, Movement, Choices and Decisions. Spring Initiates New Life ~ Fall Assesses the Quality of the New Life and marks its on-going progress ... what takes root (works & evolves), what needs more time (incubation & more care) and/or should be released altogether to begin anew (compost & re-direction of energy). How have you grown and integrated since LAST *Fall* Equinox? What aspects of that can you really "build on" or "expand" NOW?

As promised, we are going more *shamanic* in that we are integrating more nature, animal medicines and ritual interaction with the sky above. In many ancient cultures, I love that 'church' had to be outside ~ under the sun, moon & stars, because that is certainly mine. Even living in DC, NYC & Chicago, I always found a nature spot to nourish my Soul and replenish my Spirit. Now, as most of you know, I live on the Gulf side of Florida (4-miles from the beach) and I do a lot of energy work & meditation by the ocean's edge or down by the outdoor fireplace on my property. I hope to share more of this with you throughout the year. This is an evolved version of the calls we've done together since 2005, but rather than "lecture format" I would like to see us *evolve* in to a more dynamic & active *Community* that holds *Sacred Space* for whoever shows up, where there are no obligations or judgment but there is personal responsibility, mutual respect & integrity. I still want to cover the energy, set the tone and share the support & guidance, but I encourage *YOUR* ideas & input for a delicious & productive energetic *exchange*! Very often, we are all navigating this same energy, but in our own unique ways, with rare insights that could be useful to others. Sometimes it is enormously healing to simply know you are not *alone*. I will put the overall *Theme* in the invitation and I invite you to Submit your Full or New Moon *Questions/Issues* or *Intentions* ahead of time. (Normally, you'll have 2-weeks, this time we're cutting it close.)
