*SCORPIO* Deep Diving ~ It's About to Get Personal!
*KELLY's DISCLAIMER* ~ Please note that the Scorpio material is truly not for everyone. For those of you who like to 'keep it simple' Scorpio's depth and complexity can be uncomfortable or even overwhelming. So here's my personal *disclaimer* ~ I *LOVE* Scorpio time! And I also believe you can never have 'too much info' when it comes to Scorpio because it is the energy of *creation*. Scorpio is all about *Investigating* Self (another thing many shy away from). But for my *DEEP Divers* ~ especially Scorpio/Taurus Babies ~ this mailing (and the next) is for YOU! IN-Joy!!
August 2012 really *activated* the deep diving Scorpio Self-Work. Of the Personal Planets, Mars was the first to enter Scorpio (8/23), so what do you remember about mid-late August 2012? There will be *clues* around then as to what your *Customized* Scorpio Tests might be. With Mars first in, Venus is last out (till 12/15) and I have to reiterate here just how "actively involved" Mars & Venus have been during the entire year of 2012. It is glaringly obvious that at least one of the major components of making it through this incredible *portal* and rare time in Mother Earth's *Herstory* (every 26,000 years) is balancing, understanding and directing consciously our Masculine/Feminine *Natures* within and around us. All of life exists and persists because of the ongoing calibration and periodic integration of our internal Masculine/Feminine *Natures*. WE ARE BOTH & WE NEED BOTH! They just operate in different ways for different reasons to accomplish different ends which, ultimately, make the *WHOLE* stronger and more integral. So, about 4-months of walking the *Edge* between *Life & Death*, something we do annually with Sun, Moon & Mercury, but with Mars only every 2-years and Venus only every 9-14 months (think: gestation) and even MORE rarely, with North Node (every 19-years) & Saturn (every 28-years). I say all that to say that in addition to whatever *Annual* Death, Rebirth & Transformation you recognize and work with, during the next 1-3 years you have additional *power & energy* behind you, literally rebirthing your *Life Path/Direction* and *Foundation/Reality* as you personally define it ... from *Soul Level* outward!

Now (Oct/Nov 2012) brings Mercury Retrograde thru *Scorpio/Sag* (11/6-26), Sun/Saturn in Scorpio (10/25), the Scorpio *Gate of Power/Cross Qtr* (11/8) before we *Birth NEW* completely with the Super/New Moon/Solar Eclipse (11/13) in Scorpio (last in 1995). That is a lot of potent energy, streaming/beaming down to/through us between Oct 5 - Nov 28, 2012. If we take these in order, we start this process actually *processing* the entire year of 2012 with Mercury's first Retrograde through Pisces/Aries (another Water/Fire combo like *now*) in March/April 2012, then again in ALL Leo (ALL Fire) which really whipped us in to shape by connecting us directly to *Heart-Center* in July/Aug 2012, something we've probably been trying to integrate ever since ... which leads to now, the deep dive in to Scorpio first *Raw Truth* before working through the Sag *Higher Truth* which is what will ultimately pull your entire *Story of 2012* TOGETHER! Use this time wisely. Mercury is also known as *Hermes* and we like to *invite* the "message" to come through clean and clear regarding 2012 and beyond. What *Story* are you telling? What *Ideas/Thoughts/Concepts* are you carrying through this *portal*? As we take advantage of the Mercury Retrograde to gather our wits, we will consciously move through these various activations, and eventually culminate with the New Beginning/Course Correcting *Scorpio* Super New Moon / Solar Eclipse (11/13).

As you know, we can dig deep and work with ANY planet and create change in our lives. I will share my *Strategy/Plan* for working with the power of Saturn in Scorpio 2012-2015 in the next mailing, but for those of you who would prefer something simpler and more supportive of everyday *rhythms*, then I suggest you work with the Moon. As you develop a working relationship with the Moon, you begin to feel truly *Internally* Supported. Life is moving at a ridiculous pace, human bodies are expected to keep pace with computers and that is NOT how we are built. Many people are *worn out, overwhelmed & done* which tends to come to light during Scorpio time especially. I suggest my *Fixed* Babies ask your friends who are *Mutable* Babies how the last 2-3 years of their *Internal* Life has dramatically changed course (as Eclipses seem to trigger). We have two more Lunar Eclipses, which signals FINAL *Ending/Completion/Release* work around Sag/Gemini; while we are fast approaching the first Scorpio New Moon/Solar Eclipse (since 1995) which *Inaugurates* the next 2-3 years of Lunar Self-Work in Scorpio/Taurus. I will reiterate here too that, often, when you are *IN* the Activation or IN the Cycle, it is very challenging to get a clear, complete picture of what is being transformed in your Life/Being. During the *Activation/Cycle*, you catch glimpses, have life-changing *Ah-Ha* moments and make conscious connections but they are tenuous at best. Until the intensity subsides & the 'roots settle', you're still *in process* and learning. I usually allow the same length of time *Before & After* as the actual duration of the *Activation/Cycle*. In this case, everyone with Sag/Gemini/Virgo/Pisces (Sun, Moon or Rising) is coming OUT of the last 2-3 year *Personal Process* ... and everyone with Scorpio/Taurus/Leo/Aquarius is going IN to the 2-3 year *Personal Process*. Reflect on 2-3 years prior and post this period, clarify your intentions going forward for the best possible results, while being alert to *bumbles & blind spots*.

I know many of you have been missing the *Support & Guidance* that the Lunar tele-classes provide. Scorpio/Taurus are two sides of One Whole ~ that need each other to exist. One way to look at Scorpio is, as the power to *Create Life* ~ the result being the Taurus *Garden*. Conversely, the Taurus *Garden* is but (a container) an expression of the Divine (power) in *form, food & flowers*. What are you creating with your own Authentic Power? How are the *forms* in your life (sufficient/insufficient)? With both Saturn & North Node moving through Scorpio, the Lunar *Support & Guidance* is what is going to "get you through the day" as it were, because moving through the *Underworld* is arduous. I encourage you to join us twice a month to see where it is hitting your chart personally. You get your *Individual* Activations along with potent, uplifting energy from the *Group* Support. We spend half the class gathering information for the *Divine* Masculine/what do we DO *Guidance* (planetary energy, alignments & activations) and then we shift gears and close the class with *Divine* Feminine/open to receive *INVITE* Guidance (prayer, oracles & meditations) that really helps to anchor the energy you receive from the evening's work. Keeping your head "straight" is going to be a vital aspect of navigating the year 2012 and that is Mercury's department! Plus, this year's (3) Retrogrades seem to be woven together with the Cross Qtr/Gates of Power this year as we gathered on the *Aquarius* Gate (2/9), we come out of the first one at the *Taurus* Gate (5/6); the second one falls on the *Leo* Gate (8/8) and the third one falls on the *Scorpio* Gate (11/8). These ARE the *Transitional* times of year, the *In-Between* aka the *Sweet Spot* between *Seed & New Life*. Mercury Rules *Transition* ~ and will facilitate the *Pause* necessary to process the recent past and plan for the near future and TRULY *Honor* the Cross Qtr/Mid-Points in the Seasons (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall).
Mercury Retrograde suggests that our thought patterns, way of thinking, concepts and ideas can only go so far before a *REVIEW* becomes necessary, and quite useful when you honor it without delay or resistance. It happens 3-4 times per year, which I also believe is fair. Pulling back periodically is healthy and refreshing. If you think clearing the clutter in your home is rejuvenating, just imagine clearing your over-active, ego-driven, embellishing *MIND* from the collection (of data) that it gathers (and tries to process) throughout the course of a year. I consider it "Spring Cleaning" ~ though this type of mental clearing requires more than once or twice a year.
I also did a little digging (for repeated patterns) and it looks like 1999 was the last year we had almost the same FIRE/WATER Combo that we are experiencing this year, 2012. Can you remember ideas, thought patterns or thought forms, that were just beginning to take root or when your way of thinking changed?

As I consider how to leverage the energy of 2012, many things come to mind because there were SO MANY powerful *alignments* to work with this year, and it's not even over yet! The *Year of the Dragon* comes to mind and the one thing I retained was that it was the first *Water Dragon* ~ apparently the most gentle, friendly and creative one ~ in 60 years. The Chinese Astrology moves in 12-year Cycles (just like Jupiter) and it moves through the 5 Elements before repeating the pattern. The last one was 1952, 60 years is two Saturn/Realities and 5 Jupiter/Stories later. How do you feel? What would you like this mythical *energy* to contribute to your *Truth/Story* of 2012? Think of all the things *Dragons* activate in our imaginations, research some of the various legends and myths and open to receive intuitive guidance that is useful for you personally. Dragon is a potent *totem* to align your energies with.
