An Update From The Community Meeting Last Sunday Regarding Our Move.
About 30 people stayed for the discussion.
The Council of Stewards reported what they have been doing since they heard the news. They shared their vision of finding a space that allows Spirit United to be a center from which our space can be shared and rented to multiple groups with the hope of having more than one event happening at the same time.
The meeting group discussed the vision, ideas they have had about property, creative financing, our needs as a community and what needs to be done to be ready for the move.
Stay tuned for more updates and watch for emails stating our needs and a call to action will be made known.
Every friend and member of Spirit United has a vital role to play--financially, physically and spiritually--for us to make this move.

THIS SUNDAY Mystery School Sunday
January 24, 2016 10:30am-11:30am
Spirit United Emerging Through Presence, Practice, and Play with Rev. Ron Moor
How do we align ourselves with the forces that are calling us to change? What does it take to bring about meaningful, positive growth? How much control do we have over our own destiny? What spiritual practices will support us as we seek to secure our new home? Right now we have more questions than answers, but there are teachings, old and new, that we can help light our way. With inspirational quotes, luminous images, sacred chant, and updates on our search for a new home. Saleem Adam Wolter will lead us in a sacred dance of Universal peace.

LAST SUNDAY
January 17,2016
FIRE STARTING
with guest speaker
Dr. DEW Rogers and musicians Meg Miura and David Chapman
Dr. DEW led us on a "s/hero's" journey through her sacred sculpture altar. We moved through each stage together to help propel us to our own inner knowing. The stages are: birth, the soul's call, crossing the threshold to the unknown, spiritual warfare, the fearless guardian, the knowing-the mother of nations and finally the metamorphosis and ascension. Dr. DEW not only talked about our personal journey but also the journey of our community Spirit United as we embark on moving our location. Dr. DEW graciously loaned us her sculpture garden. It is in our meditation room along with the s/hero's journey process. Visit our meditation room and go deep into yourself.
Meg Miura and David Chapman shared their music with us. David stepped up to the mic and blessed us with song. Beautiful.

We will enhance our capacity to stand in our truth and speak our word.
