Pain and Crisis ~ The Gate to Enlightenment ~
with William Meader
and musician Amanda Grace Crisis and pain are prerequisites to spiritual transformation. This is true whether we consider the life of a human being, a nation, or humanity as a whole. When walking the spiritual path, the pain we experience is largely rooted in the dissonance occurring between the soul and its outer garment, the personality. Indeed, the journey to enlightenment could be understood as the process of transforming this inner discordance.
In this talk, William Meader will deeply examine the nature of crisis and pain, both from an individual and global perspective.

On Spirit Sunday our community gathered in celebration to renew our commitment to who we are and what we do. Yazmin shared her talents in support of...
  ...The Spirit United Players Theatre debut as they engaged us in reflection. What does SU mean to you? What gifts does SU give to you? What do you give to SU to support her ability to continue forward? People shared from their hearts the value SU has in their lives. Click here to hear the service.
Adam closed our ceremony leading a peace dance. The celebration continued with a potluck where conversation and laughter filled our hearts, our space and our souls.
A surprise visit from our friend Ed Edwards. In  town from South Carolina, he came by to join our gaiety, share in meal and provide his amazing energy healing gift. Without our SU gathering space, opportunities like this could not happen. Your support is vital.
A significant element of our community is the Kids With Spirit program. Though they are not always seen, they are having their own celebration along side you. "Planting seeds"and supporting the spiritual development of our youngest in the community. On this day they helped call in the directions. Here they are waiting for the announcements and joys & concerns to be complete. The children rely on you for your support, love and care. Thank you for your continued active involvement  in this beautiful community. Without you our community will not evolve. We have so much to celebrate, so much to look forward to and so much yet to do.

An Introduction to Energy Healing

Investment: $30 per class for total $330 or $300 if paid by Sept. 22
In this introductory class we will learn to do hands-on energy healing through lecture, discussion, lots of energy system building exercises, and lots of practice on one another. We will learn of the subtle energy system of the body, the "chakras", how it works, how to tap into it, how to enhance our lives and how to offer healing with it. We will learn a full body healing technique called chelation so that we may enhance our ability to be in service in this ancient way.
