June 10, 2015
Greetings!
"The hardest spiritual work in the world
is to love thy neighbor as the self
- to encounter another human being not as someone you can use, change, fix, help, save, enroll, convince or control,
but simply as someone who can spring you
from the prison of yourself,
if you will allow it."
~Barbara Brown Taylor

THIS SUNDAY
June 14,2015
10:30am-11:30am
The Spiritual Practice of Encountering Others
with Rev. Ron Moor
along with vocalist Meg Miura
and guitarist David Chapman
How many people have you truly "encountered" in your life? To encounter another means that there is something about the experience that is unexpected, difficult or challenging that often results in changing you in some way. It can also mean that you "see" the other person as they really are, not some projection you have placed on them. Some say that when that happens, you experience the face of the divine. But then, that would change you too. In this service, we will explore the opportunity these types of encounters with others can bring.

NEXT SUNDAY
May 21, 2015
10:30am-11:30am
"Hey Dad"
A Journey from Observation, to Awareness, to Appreciation.
with guest speaker Tom Peter and musician Bret Hesla
From childhood, to teen then adult and father, there were points of observation (with a big dose of experience) that lead to my awareness and eventually to appreciation for the role, "Dad."
|
 LAST SUNDAY
June 7, 2015
10:30am-11:30am
Dr. James Ulness spoke.
Yazmin brought us music.
James shared his understanding of awakening consciousness, of preparing for what is to come, and of the interconnectedness working together for the future. He helps us see a "Universe-all" vision to our soul's experiences. To listen click here.* * There will be a delay of about a week before the audio will be posted to the website. Sorry for the delay.
