February 11, 2015

Greetings!

Machine thinking is the opposite of mindfulness.
If we're really engaged in mindfulness
when walking along the path to the village,
then we will consider the act
of each step we take as an infinite wonder,
and a joy will open our hearts like a flower,
enabling us to enter the world of reality.

The Practice of Paying Attention
with Rev. Ron Moor

Paying attention brings a deeper connecting. Deeper connecting most often calls for slowing down. Slower living is more soulful living.  How do we begin to slow down? What do we let go, what do we gain? How do we create more of an intentional, slower paced, higher presence, spiritual community? With luminous images, inspirational quotes, and sacred chant.
  LAST SUNDAY
  February 8, 2015
"Paying Attention,
the Inner and the Outer"
with
Rev. Ron Moor
  and
musician James Schattauer

It was an emotional farewell service full of gratitude for James and his music from the heart. James has spent The last 3 1/2 years as Spirit United's music director.  We will miss your presence.

Ron said, if we can slow down in each moment, we can
move into our witness self and look into our judgment. As we pay attention and take a moment to slow down and soften, soften the judgment, the judgment begins to dissipate molecule by molecule.  And at some point we become aware its time to let it go.   Click here to listen.

Jeanne Lecher,
and Beth Marquardt

Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015
9:30am-12:00pm
$10 minimum donation

Channeling is information that comes through the higher perspective of Spirit. When a question is asked, it is Spirit that provides the answer. It is Spirit's intent to provide clarity and understanding along with healing and shifting in various areas of the seeker's life.

Each session provides variations in perspectives on the same questions. Questions should be asked in such a way as to require more than just a "yes" or "no" answer. The more involved the questions, the more information is contained in the answer.

All welcome for a morning of answers and fun!

All beliefs are welcome.

Learn to co-create your own health and well-being in this popular class. Using Machaelle Small Wright's work connecting with the alliance of souls assisting the co-creation of humanity's evolutionary patterns, we will guide students in an experiential understanding of the co-creative process of healing. This class has required reading and practice between class sessions. By completion of the class, students will have initiated and established a personal energetic healing team and practice using the protocol developed by Ms. Wright. Expect humor and profound experiences of healing!

Jane & Patricia are committed to making the Ageless Wisdom a part of daily, practical life. With a combined 30 years active as teachers of meditation & healing, and careers that have spanned nursing, education, social work, and healing facilitation, we bring a vast array of  experiences to this work.

Do you want more love, more joy, more whole-hearted living? Brene Brown studied people who believed in their own worth, were courageous, and were connected to others empathically.  What they had in common was that they moved beyond the universal sense of shame, of unworthiness, that is common to us all.  Come learn how uncovering shame can help us develop openness, vulnerability and authenticity.

Gratitude for what has been,
Sorrow for having to let go.

Emptiness for the space left behind,
Excitement for what will be for James.

Our collective SU heart is challenged in this dialectic as we say goodbye and thank you to James Schattauer for his 3-1/2 years as music coordinator for Sunday services, his leadership, and his unending vision to enhance the music beauty within our community.

Farewell.
