January 21, 2015
Greetings!
"Our duty is wakefulness, the fundamental condition of life itself. The unseen, the unheard, the untouchable is what weaves the fabric of our see-able universe together."
~ Robin Craig Clark,
The Garden

KIDS WITH SPIRIT
THIS SUNDAY

"When you do things from your soul,
you feel a river moving in you, a joy."
~ Rumi

 NEXT SUNDAY
February 8, 2015
10:30am-11:30am
"Paying Attention, the Inner
and the Outer"
with Rev. Ron Moor
and musician James Schattauer We will introduce the theme for February-The Practice of Paying Attention. With attention, with awareness, we can be more open, more present. To be as aware as we can to how we have been conditioned. Real change, real transformation, means shifting from blaming, shaming and trying to force ourselves, to noticing ourselves. To be as mindful as we can without trying to make ourselves feel mindful. We will explore how mindfulness, paying attention, and reverence dance together.

LAST SUNDAY
SCHOOL SUNDAY January 25, 2015
What Is Really Real? Opening to the Presence of Spirit
with Rev. Ron Moor
Ron challenged us to "punch holes in sacred cows" by looking with new perspectives, new "awarenesses" of the belief systems deeply engrained within each of us. (Even the ones we are completely unaware we carry.) Many of these belief systems are what we are now calling the old story, which no longer serve us. Part of our journey is to be aware of the old story and its hold on us. We want to let go of the old story and move into the new one being born in this very moment within each of us, all around us, and in many communities around the world.
One community member said, "A spectacular explanation of our theme this year." Another said, "... It got me thinking and feeling differently."

Learn to co-create your own health and well-being in this popular class. Using Machaelle Small Wright's work connecting with the alliance of souls assisting the co-creation of humanity's evolutionary patterns, we will guide students in an experiential understanding of the co-creative process of healing. This class has required reading and practice between class sessions. By completion of the class, students will have initiated and established a personal energetic healing team and practice using the protocol developed by Ms. Wright. Expect humor and profound experiences of healing!
Jane & Patricia are committed to making the Ageless Wisdom a part of daily, practical life. With a combined 30 years active as teachers of meditation & healing, and careers that have spanned nursing, education, social work, and healing facilitation, we bring a vast array of experiences to this work.

Be Still And Know-The Tao of Meditation
NO MEETING THIS WEEK, FEB. 5th.
RON IS OUT OF TOWN!
Wed. Mornings
10:00am-11:30am
$20 per class
Deepen your meditative practice or begin one by joining us. We will gather weekly to read, meditate, and dialog on the profound wisdom found in the 2500 year old text of The Tao Te Ching. These 81 short, poetic sayings have offered relief, gentle guidance, and a pathway to inner peace for countless millions. Each week we will begin with a few minutes of breath work to deepen our focus, read one of the sayings, and then bring these ancient words into a 30 minute silent meditation. Following the meditation we will join in an open discussion of the meaning as it relates to our lives today.
