"Blessing of the Animals:
What Would Scooby Do?
with Sage Lewis
Most of us can remember a connection we've had with an animal at some point in our lives, right? We enjoy the butterflies and dragonflies all summer long, and the birds and squirrels entertain us through the fall and winter, but have you ever stopped to truly watch the animals?
Sage Lewis will take you into the world of the four leggeds, winged ones, and the finned and feathered to make you think twice about what it means to truly be connected to the animal world. There will be a blessing of the animals and people at the end of the service.
Your leashed and secure animals are welcome to attend the service if you think they'd enjoy it! Photos of deceased pets (or for those who would rather stay home) are welcome, too.

Light is a term used in most spiritual traditions to depict the  nature of divinity, both within oneself and hidden within the circumstances of life. Indeed, we often describe divinity in terms of the "light of God." In this talk, William Meader will deeply consider the nature of spiritual light and its revelatory influence at this transitional period in human history. The Light of Love/Wisdom, the Light of Purpose and the Light within the Head will be closely examined, as well as methods for bringing the Light of the Soul more fully into the fabric of our day-to-day lives.

Spirit United is hosting Edd Edwards a noted energy healer. He will offer a demonstration of Intrinsic Resonate Energy Healing. Edd, from rural Georgia, has known since age two that he "had the gift," like his grandmother before him. She helped him develop his gift, which has been researched by Rhine Research Center in North Carolina. Edd will be scheduling the private healing sessions after his presentation on Sunday for that afternoon and evening as well as for Monday during the day. Susan uses the vibrational energies of a person's voice to trigger images which she then sketches on charcoal paper with artist pencils. Alternating between drawing and describing what she sees, she gathers additional information as the drawing progresses. The finished image captures information about one's Soul, the present path, occasionally past life information that may be pertinent to challenges in this lifetime, and where one's journey is leading. For each of these portraits, Susan captured the energy of what was unfolding in my life with astounding accuracy. Among the many things that she foretold, these were the most memorable for me:
1.) She told me that she saw me hiking in the Andes Mountains. When I responded that I had already done that twice and doubted whether I'd be going again, Susan insisted that this was still in the future. Three years later, I was hiking the Inca trail in the Andes with shamans.
2.) In 1991 when I was a full time high school Spanish teacher, Susan said that she saw me doing "some kind of energy work that she had no name for". The next year I attended a conference where I was introduced to Feng Shui and became one of the pioneers in teaching and consulting in Feng Shui in the Twin Cities.
