Weaving together early Celtic mystical beliefs and the promise of connection expressed in the Deep Ecology movement, Lynn will present stories from her own experience and suggest practices that can lead a path of greater intentional opening awareness. Her book is entitled "Seeing with the Heart."

Ron introduced our sub-theme for September is Wandering in the Vastness: Home is Everywhere with the archetype-The Wanderer/Wonderer. He challenged us with a deep message that left us asking,"Can we begin to see more than the surface? Can we move away from what is in our face and get more of what is happening? The bigger picture we might say. (Can we) not get so caught-up in the mundane? Yes. We have to deal with it. But,...maybe dealing with it might get a bit easier if we see the bigger picture. We can take a breath. All of our task is to see with new eyes in different ways." Ron presented Michael Angelo's paintings on the Sistine Chapel and challenged us to look deeply. Spirit United is a garden of abundance, a sanctuary of nourishment and shelter, of learning and beauty, of community and caring. Join us on Spirit Sunday as we joyfully celebrate, and communally tend, our garden. Musicians Barbara McAfee and James Schattauer will bring extraordinary music to feed our souls. Ron will offer a message of meaning, and we will discuss what our Garden of Spirit needs to continue to flourish so that we all can be fed. This is an important service in the life flow of our community. We humbly ask you to make an extra effort to attend.
 
Abundance is not something we acquire.

Each pairing of the tones and art are communication portals and activations for accessing and receiving energy in a most unique manner. The songs of light, sound and color that remind us of our "home" are deeply transforming personally, while also uplifting the planetary vibrational field as a whole.
Members of the choir & others who have experienced Dr. Todd's workshops will be present for a discussion, so please join us for this very experiential night. FYI-A Workshop is coming this fall. A Mesmerizing Moment

We took a day trip to Red Wing. When we happened upon an exhibit at the depot by the St. James Hotel.
We found ourselves walking amidst about 20 amazing mandalas from Africa. The real surprise was that they were created from butterfly wings!!!
In our astonishment and awe surrounded by beauty, I wondered how the wings were harvested. I learned
African men gather from an area where the butterflies gather, finish their life cycle and transition to what is next. They bring the wings to the women who make incredible works of art-mandalas.
The clerk at the depot didn't know what a mandala was so I tried to explain. I wished to purchase one but the cost was $150-out of my ability. These images will remain inside my mind's eye taking my breath away.
