Our organizational chart uses 2 symbols with deep meaning. They represent reunification, encircling essence, balance restoration, being present in the now, going inward instead of frantically onward, and consolidating the inner being. Come learn how it can guide us as individuals, how it guides our community, and how it can guide you within our community.

 LAST SUNDAY SERVICE
SCHOOL SUNDAY
June 22, 2014
"A Time for Healing"
with Rev. Ron Moor
Ron reminded us that in our journey together, we have awoken, begun the search by looking within, have let go that which is not helpful, and now are ready to heal. Together we can engage in a deep process of healing by meeting the "friend" within as Rumi calls it.
He shared Five Habits of Happiness as a way to connect with our friend within. The steps are posted at the bottom of this newsletter.
Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, this service was not recorded.

Your prayer requests will be held in community meditation with sacred intention everyday for one month to enhance the power and intention of your prayer.
To use this enhanced prayer service: Fill out the request form and place it in the wooden prayer box on the pillar next to the meditation room. Provide specifics to your prayer request to enhance intentional focus.

SUPPORT WAGS AND WORSHIP

Spread the word about Wags and Worship.
This unique service brings
together two-leggeds with our animal companions in celebration of living. Advocate for its continuation.
Laura D'Ambrosio is scheduled to do the July 6 and August 3 services. During this time, things will be re-evaluated as to its continuation.

Start with just one of these.
Do it for 21 days, then add something else.
The Five Habits of Happiness.
1. For 21 days in a row, write down three experiences you are grateful for that have occurred in the past 24 hours. They are to be new and different each day, no repeats.
2. The Doubler. Write every day for 21 days, for at least 3 minutes, describing the most meaningful experience of the past 24 hours. Notice the kind of words you use. Can you use more positive words than negative.
3. The Fun Fifteen. Add 15 minutes of FUN physical activity every day for 21 days. It has to be something physical that you truly enjoy doing.
4. The Ripple Effect. Consciously add three smiles a day. Be aware of how you feel as you smile.
5. Charge Your Happiness Battery. Consciously engage in meaningful social connections. The more social support, the more possibility of happiness. For 21 days, once each day, write an email note, (or real card or note) to someone in your social network spending at least two minutes writing something positive you appreciate about them. It has to be a different person each day, no repeats.
