As we do all this, we uncover the "treasure within" and begin to experience true healing. On this first day of June we will explore how healing can, and does happen. We will also honor and celebrate Kids With Spirit.

 " Angelic Pathways: When Angels Whisper, Do You Listen?" with Author Rev. Chantel Lysette
Rev. Lysette will headline a five-hour symposium on angels. Rev. Lysette holds a doctorate in ministry, is the author of several books, including Angelic Pathways, The Angel Code, and Azrael Loves Chocolate, Michael's a Jock: An Insider's Guide to What Angels Are Really Like. She is an angelologist who lectures and teaches around the country.
During Dr. Lysette's visit to the Twin Cities, she will be available for personal consultations, private readings and small group sessions as an angel intuitive through Isis Aeyu International.

Dr. Ulness, professor emeritus in psychology from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, will speak on "Developing a Living-Working Relationship with Angels." Dr. Ulness has a unique way of integrating the best of mainstream psychology with Eastern and Western spirituality. His work helps people who are having unusual experiences of a psychic, spiritual or mystical nature to understand what is happening and thus better integrate these experiences into their personality in a healthy way.

In this talk, answering many questions frequently asked on the spiritual path, Brother Anandamoy shows why the law of karma is a just and necessary part of creation. He explains many subtle aspects of the scientific nature of karma-the cosmic law of cause and effect that manifests in our lives and throughout the universe. Ultimately, he points out, understanding karma gives us the means to rise above all limitations and attain spiritual freedom and joy.

Spirit United is pleased to announce the third concert in the series that features local artists in concert and in conversation, to provided a more intimate connection with the guest musician and their creativity.
More than 4 decades as a touring professional have found Michigan native Claudia Schmidt traversing North America as well as Europe in venues ranging from intimate clubs to 4,000 seat theatres, and festival stages in front of 25,000 rapt listeners. She has recorded nineteen albums of mostly original songs, exploring folk, blues, and jazz idioms featuring her acclaimed 12-string guitar and mountain dulcimer playing
Your evening's host will be James Schattauer, music director at Spirit United. James will provide preconcert music and help facilitate conversation between the artist and the audience.

Enhanced Prayer Ministry
Your prayer requests will be held in community meditation with sacred intention everyday for one month to enhance the power and intention of your prayer.
A group of individuals will pray simultaneously every day for one month per request. Inspirational guidance comes from Healing Presence and Spirit United's Guiding Principles.
All who come to Spirit United are invited to use this service.
To use this enhanced prayer service: Fill out the request form and place it in the wooden prayer box on the pillar next to the meditation room. Provide specifics to your prayer request to enhance intentional focus.
This prayer service is inspired by and in the memory of Marilyn Sholl, Gordy Chatterton, and Kathleen O'Donovan. These beautiful souls now live in the heavens and continue to guide us as they live in the hearts of our community.
