June 1, 2014 10:30am-11:30am
"Healing Happens from Within "
with Rev. Ron Moor and musician James Schattauer
In our journey of soul so far, we have woken up, started out, felt alone, found friends along the way, looked within, and started letting go. As we do all this, we uncover the "treasure within" and begin to experience true healing. On this first day of June we will explore how healing can, and does happen. We will also honor and celebrate Kids With Spirit.
The one who heals us
lets whatever hurts the soul
dissolve to a listening
intelligence, where what we most
deeply want, union with eternity,
grows up around and inside us now!
Rumi

LAST SUNDAY
SCHOOL SUNDAY May 18, 2014
"Heroic Surrender"
with Rev. Ron Moor
Ron led us in an exploration of our journey as the hero inside us within the divine mother matrix. A community member shared, "For me I left with a new realization that we tend to get stuck in our left brain and end up letting our head try to control everything in our lives. And, we did a great exercise focusing on an infinity symbol near the root chakra to teach our body a different way of listening. Powerful."

Returned for Alterations
By Janetgrace
for Mary LeSourd of Courage Center
Gentle --- Safely --- Assuredly
She holds my hands ---
Until the right moment comes
With my Letting Go.
I'm resting on the water....
Floating in her care.
Only breathing
In Out
Breathing
Relaxing --- Resting --- Being
Free to escape to my dreams
To fly as Eagle to the sun-drenched cliffs of Lake Superior
To gallop as Horse down the wave-lapped shore
To leave my body and Dance in space.
to Be
Still
in the Presence of the All Knowing
at One
Is this what it's like to leave the body behind:
Just fall back, float, and say yes?
Permitting myself to slip through to the other side?
Eventually
Reluctantly, I'm brought back to the pool.
Prone --- then slowly, slowly standing.
"I don't want to come back,"
I hear myself say.
Yet, I do --- Altered.
