It is "Growing Spirit" Sunday! And, Rev. Ron Moor returns after a month sabbatical refreshed and renewed. Join him as we celebrate and bless who we are as we grow with Spirit United. Ron will offer a brief message on the two tests of the spiritual path, dedicate the new altar, facilitate a conversation about our exciting spiritual community and our role as members and friends in it. "Joy in the Morning"

Have you ever been through a dark time in your life when you felt relief was delayed? Maybe you had even begun to fear relief was not coming at all. First you are patient, then not so much, and maybe becoming nervous. If it's bad enough, you may find yourself crying to the heavens, feeling abandoned. And, if it goes on long enough, one can become very discouraged, in despair, or most dangerously forget that even the darkest time, no matter how long, is a passage not an identity and never a permanent condition. And then a breakthrough happens.
The breakthrough maybe the job is found, the person arrives, the money appears, insight made, a book or class offers the needed information, or the perfect remark made at the right time. Ah.... And, a Dawning of the Light happens once again. And we remember, the Dawn always comes.
During this Dawning for our planet, we have to keep reminding ourselves (and each other) why we are here. During this planetary shift, we must remember this or we will lose our purpose and intention. We can fall into the illusion that chaos is permanent. When it fact, it is a stage of transformation meant to tear down existing structures and and allow us to be in the rubble to choose what to keep and what to discard.
We must keep reminding ourselves of this Truth during this intense passage we are in together. For the Dawn IS coming...and it will bring much joy.

Sage and James share stories and song to illustrate the distractions in life that may interfere with staying in the present moment and tips for slowing down to be in the moment, in the breath of life. Kids With Spirit Resumes

On this day we will finish the masks we began in the spring by painting them. If you did not make a mask, no worries. We will have mask shells for you to create your own design. This day will be a day to celebrate our uniting with new friends and reuniting with long-standing friends.

What most Christians, Jews and Muslims do not realize is that the popular conception of the Ark of the Covenant as a simple golden box is incomplete. Books about the Ark speculate that the Ark was a weapon, a capacitor or power source, a container. They barely mention its complete parts, its secret history or its true capability.
As William Henry shows in his book, the Ark is actually one component of a larger, supernaturally powerful Judgment Day 'device'. Its content is a search for the Ark's missing pieces and its complete hidden function. The phenomena associated with this Device makes clear that it is some form of otherworldly ascension tool. It has the capability of making a human holy on contact and transmuting flesh into light. With it, one can ascend and travel the stars. This is why it is the most coveted device of human history. The purpose for the workshop is to deepen our understanding of our relationship with time, money, energy and resources in our work and in our lives. Even though we theorize about abundance, many of us need to reconcile deep ambivalence about our desires for the good life with one's spiritual values. Sometimes making peace with teachings of renunciation as well as awareness of the needs on our planet seems hard to balance with the demands and choices of modern life. When is enough, enough? Many carry karmic memories of poverty; others equate godliness with lack; still others think wealth of all kinds indicates blessings from above. Part of the intention of this workshop is to face without blinking the hard questions that arise on this complex subject. The ultimate goal is for each of us to find our inner peace about all our resources and then consciously choose how we will use them.

James Ulness, PhD. a long-time professor of psychology at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN, has developed and taught spiritual psychology since the early 1970s. He draws from the Mystery Wisdom of the ages, the psychology of Carl Jung and the insights of Rudolf Steiner to better understand human nature and social order.
His topic is unknown at this time. It will be formulated as spirit moves into his wealth of knowledge and gives direction.

The Zodiac is a perfect symbol of human consciousness rising into Universal Consciousness. The Zodiacal Signs are 12 Great Ideas in Mind of Divinity which describe developmental and evolutionary processes simultaneously. When taken as a whole, they describe the perfect human archetype. Those who complete this class will learn the basic principles of Astrology that will prepare one for further accelerated study of the Divine Science. This is a prerequisite to Intermediate Astrology, Evolutionary Astrology and Esoteric Astrology.
Required Text: The Inner Sky, by Steven Forrest. Class Assignments Include: Preparing flashcards for House, Signs, Planets; Blend the signs of the Sun, Moon and Ascendant; Write a skit on the Modes of the signs showing how the Elements are different; and Walk the Signs' Energies.
