I heard people say, "I love this day!"  "It has so much magic and brings us together as a community.  We get to see people from a different perspective and honor who they are."  "I am always amazed with the talent."  "(As a spectator) I get to hold them with love as they perform with all their beauty and with their imperfections.  What an inspiration!"  "I love this community!"  The talents shared were a poetry reading, story telling, accordion and violin solos, dance, singing, art work exhibits and a mantra chant.  Many of the acts brought tears to performers' eyes as well as spectators.

Bio:  William Meader comes to us from Oregon, although a native of Minneapolis.  For over 20 years, he has been a student and teacher of Esoteric Psychology.  Such  topics as the psychology of the soul, esoteric astrology/cosmology, and the creative magic of the soul are the cornerstones of his work.  His passion is to teach people the deeper implications of modern spiritual development, and the means to express the soul more effectively in the outer world.  William Meader's work is international in scope.  He regularly teaches in the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand .

The purpose for the workshop is to deepen our understanding of our relationship with time, money, energy and resources in our work and in our lives.  Even though we theorize about abundance, many of us need to reconcile deep ambivalence about our desires for the good life with one's spiritual values.  Sometimes making peace with teachings of renunciation as well as awareness of the needs on our planet seems hard to balance with the demands and choices of modern life.  When is enough, enough?  Many carry karmic memories of poverty; others equate godliness with lack; still others think wealth of all kinds indicates blessings from above.  Part of the intention of this workshop is to face without blinking the hard questions that arise on this complex subject.  The ultimate goal is for each of us to find our inner peace about all our resources and then consciously choose how we will use them.

This playshop offers a transpersonal development opportunity for exploring the connection between Evolution of Consciousness - for humanity and personally - and the principles of Feng Shui as a mindfulness practice.  Participants will be guided in exploring their own homes/offices through feng shui eyes to invite personal goals and shifts in consciousness.  Topics covered are:  What is consciousness?  What is ego?  What is transpersonal development? Feng Shui practices for transcending ego, awakening our truths, essential nature looking at physical, mental, emotional and energetic environments.  (12 CEU's are available to those requesting them.) Bring your floor-plan and dimensions including attached garage to class.

Justin Orloff directed the day.    Bob McKee set the tone with humor as he read poetry.    Jennelle Donnay and Michael Dinsmore share one of their favorite dances.    Kola Obembe, a new friend of Spirit United, shared his boyhood memories and family favorites with his accordion.    LilyAnn Holden shared her love of the violin.    Jim Donnay and Jennelle Donnay brought tears to the crowd as they sang favorite Everly Brother's tunes.    Carol McCormick-Buchmeier amazed us with her gift of story telling.   Karen Greer didn't dance alone this year.  She involved the community with James Schattauer's song, "The Learning". 
Fin Pollari ended our morning with a spontaneous decision to share a protection chant he does when he feels the need to center. Artist SaraRose Holden shared her work - pottery, her first dream catcher and a multi media medicine wheel.    Kids With Spirit's Masks by LaurelEileen and LilyAnn Holden.  And,  Rev. Ron Moor with his son, Tom just returning from Marine boot camp.
