"To Those Who See"
by
Elizabeth St. Angelo
Those who see use their imagination, the doorway to their soul. They can see the world as they want it to be, not as it is. In Facing the World with Soul, author Robert Sardello asks us to see everyone as family and the world as beautiful, plentiful, and at peace. With our thoughts, we create our lives and the world around us. Our minds, including imagination, are more powerful than we can imagine. Those who see beauty, plenty, brotherhood and peace, bring it into their lives and into our world!

"The Eight Gates and Other Gems of Islam"
by
Zahir Roman Orest
Zahir led the opening invocation in song prayer which left me tingling and ready to learn. As he began to speak, I was witness to his wealth of information and his desire to share what he knows. Zahir passionately expressed how each of us may walk in harmony with each of the Eight Gates of Islam. Then we experienced an active meditation with movement and song. James Schattauer and Zahir Orest balanced their musical contributions beautifully. This was a truly inspirational Sunday service. Don't miss it. Click here to hear it for yourself.

William Meader comes to us from Oregon, although a native of Minneapolis. For over 20 years, he has been a student and teacher of Esoteric Psychology. Farewell to Grandmother Willow
by Carol McCormick
 | |
Willow trunk is 4' in diameter. It is 8.5' tall from base to tip of the spire.
|
Farewell to Grandmother Willow
My daily meditation for 36 years
Was often picking up your branches.
You graced our front yard
Bringing joy to many who passed our corner lot.
You were a glorious seasonal calendar,
Part of celebrating many events in my life,
And helping me mourn and accept my losses.
When I planted you from a stick taken from
My first friend's yard after we moved to Minnesota,
I had no idea how much work loving you entailed.
Realization dawned
After raking multitudinous thousands of your leaves.
Birds perched and nested on you.
Children and grandchildren climbed you.
People rested in your shade.
Within your canopy I felt safe and nurtured.
Neighbors admired you saying you helped them
Appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons.
We were vacationing in Nebraska on the 2013 Summer Solstice
So I did not see the vicious murderous wind
That broke off your center branches
And made you prey to the chainsaw.
In dying may you be reborn
As a sculpture that inspires us
To accept death, seek beauty, and welcome rebirth.
