Movie Review and Recommendation

Last Saturday night, I was moving too fast. Out of balance with too much Yang energy, I took a nasty fall. This forced me to Yin - receiving healing energy and physical help from others in order to accomplish simple tasks. As part of my recovery on Sunday, my husband, Jerry, brought home the Redbox DVD Unconditional.
I highly recommend this movie as "love medicine!" No expensive cost nor pharmaceutical side effects. The movie's message of friendship and faith, based upon the real life story of an African American man, is phenomenal. Good storytelling without special effects, it makes the viewer care deeply for the characters. I especially liked how it showed the importance of community in helping people recover from trauma. Plus, it inspires the viewer to care about poor, fatherless children and work to end generational cycles of poverty. |

- Have you ever wished for the opportunitiy to experience silence before the Sunday service? If so, our Meditation Room will be open from 9:45 - 10:15am each Sunday morning. Know that your presence in this place of peace and serenity will be most welcome. Kathleen O'Donovan and Glenn Kline will be there to hold the space for all who wish to join in the silent meditation.
