JOURNEY TO THE HOLY ~
LESSONS ALONG THE WAY
March 10.2013
By: Karen Greer
Karen will be sharing parts of her life's journey - events that challenged her, inspired her and shook her to the core...events that assisted her in learning trust and being more hopeful and purposeful.
She shares her story not because she has "arrived" in her spiritual journey, but because she hopes it may be of benefit or reassurance or inspiration in some way to those in the community who are also seekers and perhaps have had similar experiences. Join her as she shares her story.
Musical support provided by James Schattauer.
The service will be followed by our Second Sunday Pot Luck. Bring a dish to share and stay for community. |
Last Sunday: (Second Service) Gratitude and New Growth
By: Shanna McCann
Shanna told the story of the loss of her hair due to alopecia, and her healing journey into greater spiritual awareness and wholeness. She spoke of developing her connection to source through a daily practice of gratitude and how grateful she is to Spirit United for the people who served to help her along the way. Very happily, Shanna's spiritual growth has been accompanied by new hair growth as well, which is a testament to growth of all kinds possible through gratitude.
Shanna is an inspiration. To hear the full service, click here.

Last Sunday: (Early Service)
WAGS AND WORSHIP
By: Sage Lewis and James Schattauer
Java, Sage's four-legged companion for twelve years, transitioned on Saturday, bringing to Sage a bitterwseet freedom from worry and also the realization of a deep and continued "connection" to her beloved friend. The message on Sunday was about connection and how our animals teach us, if we listen, by requiring us to slow down and be present.
This was a wonderful and moving "first service" for Spirit United. If you missed it you can Click Here to listen

Understanding the Divine Feminine
March 17, 2013 1:00-4:00pm
By: Terry Williams
The power of the Triple Goddess, the Maiden, Mother, and Crone, are found inside the deepest part of each of us, male and female alike. They give us the strength to live our lives with fullness and understanding.
This course will study the Maiden Warrior, the Mother Creator and the Crone Healer from an historical and present day perspective, and we will learn how to recognize the Triple Goddess within each of us so that we can tap into the power of the Goddess to support our lives.
Minimum of 8 participants.
Investment: $40 if paid before March 15. $45 thereafter.
..........
Bio: Terry has long studied and celebrated the Triple Goddess and Divine Feminine. She has over 10 years of instructional experience, along with experience in seminars/workshops that address interpersonal communications, diversity, and human relations. Terry is a long-time friend of Spirit United. |

Music Opportunity
With James Schattauer
You all know James, the man who has been making beautiful and inspirational music with the Spirit United Community for many years and, for the last few, as its Music Director. James is currently working on a new album he describes as "an album that celebrates the many colors of love and compassion." We are providing you with a preview of this project, and ask that you take a look and listen. It is amazing!
We at Spirit United thank James for all he does every week for our community and for sharing his wonderful music, talent and gifts with the world.
