THIS SUNDAY:
THE TIME IS NOW.
LIVING OUR FUTURE
A School Sunday with chants, images and readings
by Rev. Ron Moor
10:30am - December 30, 2012

What have we learned in  living through this year of 2012? What challenges have we faced, within and without?  What lessons are we going to carry over into 2013?  What can we leave behind that no longer serves us?  What can we embrace so that we can live more fully in each moment, in resonance with the emerging paradigms?

This is the final Sunday Service and the final School Sunday of 2012.  We will look back, take stock, and begin to live our future.  We have been called.  The time is now.

LAST SUNDAY'S SERVICE
CELEBRATING LOVE'S ARRIVAL
WITH Ellen Dancing WORD, SONG AND DANCE
Presented by Ellen Swanson, supported musically by James Schattauer

Through Ellen's interpretive dance and facilitation, the community imagined how to be a manger:  be empty, be sturdy, be soft inside, be still, be ready...all qualities for being present, a form of unconditional love.  To learn how to make these qualities personal and practical in our daily lives and relationships with others, and in our community, listen to the service. Click Here.
CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE
A VERY special thank you to those  who voluntarily gave of their time and talents to bring the community this  beautiful service.

    Brenda Adams and Kathleen O'Donovan - program/planning

Bettie Seitzer and Dale Seitzer - music

KWS guided by Shannon Dufresne - readings

Raphael Holden - bell ringer extraordinaire

MOVIE NIGHT
January 4, 2013, 7:00 p.m.
"I AM"

The Story of a successful Hollywood director, Tom Shadyac (Liar Liar, Nutty Professor, Bruce Almighty), who experienced a life threatening head injury, and his ensuing journey to try to answer two very basic questions: 1) What's wrong with our world, and 2) What can we do about it?

With a film crew of four, Tom visits some of today's great minds, including authors, poets, teachers, religious leaders and scientists, while searching for the fundamental endemic problem that causes all of the other problems, and simultaneously reflecting on his own life choices of excess, greed, and eventual healing.

"We started by asking what's wrong with the world, and ended up discovering what's right with it."  Tom Shadyac  (78 min).

Discussion follows movie. A $5 free-will donation is suggested.
