TAC  Sales Station Update
New Web Sales Station
The New Sales Station is available for pre-production testing. (We are still making improvements!)

TAC Version Updates

Recent updates to TAC include:

  

Company Grid Management

Under Admin, User setting, check box "Use Company Default Grid". This is a set of templates is used by everyone with the box checked. This way everyone uses the same setting for the entire company. If not selected, the individual user can make their own grid settings.

  

Bulk Emailing - Limits Expanded   

The bulk emailing limit for cloud accounts has been raised to 1000 emails for cloud customers. Premises customers still have a limit of batch size of 200 as required by most ISP providers to avoid spam sites

.

  

TAC Online - Scanning Serial Number Bar Codes    

We continue to add features to remove any paper and voice communication for normal operations with employees and customers. These new services support your driver reporting serial numbers to back office for deliveries, pickups and exchanges. The driver simply scans the unit code (yes we support all coding types QR, bar code 39, etc.) and you receive both a real-time email and a note inserted into TAC Online immediately. Close business transactions now!

Your customer can scan a Service Survey QR code with any scanner software and they will be prompted on unit status, and option to add a note. 7 x 24 customer service.


The new services are based on two scanner tools: 

  • QR - Service Survey for customers and consumers
  • Drivers Scanner App (Free with Service Station)
Driver Web Service Station
Work orders now include a display of Unit Count (U#) that ,when clicked, will display all the units assigned to the service location. This enhancement was required to meet the following business needs 
  • Pick up and delivery units driver knows which type and specific serial number
  • Roll off exchanges where multiple containers are on location
  •  Implementation of QR and bar code scanning to verify serial number on unit and assigned number in the field
  • GPS verification of unit location
  • Container size, quantity and location for recovery markets, e.g., yellow, black oil

Missed Stop Verification Report

The report list all stops with either:     

  • No service verification entry in the last 6 days
  • Service verification entry where the distance from the stop is more then 250 feet

Location of the report is - (Reports/Dispatch/Service Stops/Report40).   Setting the minimal distance from the service location in feet is in (Admin\system setting\work order\service stop tab).

Joke of the Week
Skyscraper

Two men were sitting at a bar at the top of a skyscraper. Both were bending their elbows at a steady rate. The first man said, "You know, there's such an updraft on the outside of this building, that if you jump off, you'll fall for a bit, but the updraft will catch you, and bring you right back up to this balcony. 

The second guy said, "I don't believe it, you'll have to prove this to me." 

So the first guy goes over the balcony and jumps off. He falls and falls and falls, and then he slows in mid drop, and begins rising back up. Finally, he lightly steps back onto the balcony. "See, I told you," he says. 

The second guy says, "I've got to try that." So he jumps off the balcony, and falls and falls and falls and falls. Finally, splat on the ground. 

The first guy returns to the bar and orders another drink. 

As he serves the drink, the bartender says, "You're a mean drunk, Superman."
