Work Past and Future Route Dates
Missed a stop on yesterday's route that you need to complete today?

Need to service next Monday's route this Friday because Monday is a holiday?

It's easy with the enhanced TAC Driver's Web App!

Service Route Date Selection
has been added to the driver's web station to 

fully support service verification for the past 6 days and future 6 days. Any of the services for the period can be completed with full tracking information maintained.

 

In case of holidays, weather, missed stops or running service as a weekly zone, the driver can now make sure each stop in a past or future date is serviced.

 

The service route drivers will now select the date of the route(s) to be worked before selecting a specific route from the route list. 

 

We have included a new What's New button on the home page of the driver's app which explains new changes to the driver's web station.  Click the button to the right to learn more about the new route date selection feature:

 

Other enhancements to the driver's station include:

  • Unit service count per stop expanded to 40

  • When the driver clicks the check button on the service stop to indicate the service is completed, there is now an option to email a note to a customer indicating service verification. If customer email is not populated in the second email address of the site master, there will be a warning message to the driver not to send the email.


Walkie-Talkie Apps for Tablets
 
We have been checking on walkie-talkie apps that you can use on your driver's tablet devices.  These will enable to you and your drivers to speak to each other using ipads and android tablets, making the driver's web stations even more useful and cost-effective.

Is Your Company PCI Compliant?
Paying Attention

Joel and his crew work hard for you to make sure you are as safe as possible as you do business on the web.  Your credit card processing is a key part of that security. 

For you to be PCI Compliant here is what you need to do.

If you are integrated with TAC and Authorize.net - it is very simpleJust follow these 2 steps:

1) When you register or sign in to do your PCI Compliance Questionnaire, make sure you say you are using Authorize.net as your processing method.

2) Complete the Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) - this asks questions about your credit card based practices, like how do you treat credit card numbers after a customer gives them to you? 

Please note: If you are not using integrated processing, it might require a quarterly scan.  When your questionnaire is complete, it will tell you if you require a scan.  For more information about this, please check out this video.

If you don't complete the self assessment questionnaire, most of the credit card processors will charge a non-compliance fee.  Anywhere from $9.95 - 19.95 per month!  They might be charging you already!

on Our Website
Did you know you can look up your account information and pay your invoices  
on the Clear Computing website?
 
Go to our live support at http://www.clearcomputing.com/ and get your login and password. Then click on green button "My Account" to see your information. 


If you're a TAC Online user, you can put a Customer Portal on your website and give your customers access to their account history and service information.  Your customers can even pay bills right from your website.

A woman was having a passionate affair with an inspector from a pest-control company. One afternoon they were carrying on in the bedroom together when her husband arrived home unexpectedly. "Quick," said the woman to her lover, "into the closet!" and she pushed him in the closet, stark naked. The husband, however, became suspicious and after a search of the bedroom discovered the man in the closet. "Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm an inspector from Termite Busters," said the exterminator.

"What are you doing in there?" the husband asked.

"I'm investigating a complaint about an infestation of moths," the man replied.

"And where are your clothes?" asked the husband.
