New Routing Tools in TAC Online
We've added some powerful new routing tools to TAC Online:

Bulk Re-Routing
You can now duplicate any routes, make changes to the duplicate routes using our dispatch tools and then replace the current operational routes with the new routes.  This is a great way to try out new routes while keeping your current routes intact until you are ready to use the changes.

Available dispatching tools to optimize the new routes are:
  • F5 - Service Dispatch Board
  • Dispatch mapping - Stop by Stop

  • Dispatch mapping - Lasso Tool

  • Dispatch Mapping - Route Optimization

Google Mapping Expansion
Google map image capture is now editable, so you can add notes and highlight locations (using PC Paint) so when the map is printed on work orders and service stops the driver has as much detail as possible.
Note: Google mapping will be the only tool for TAC Online to map a location. MapPoint will only be available for the dispatching stations service route and work order optimization.


Customer Portal Payments Enhanced
We've made it easier for your customers to pay any open invoice right from your website!

Our Customer Portal now has a Pay button next to each invoice. This pre-populates the invoice number and payment amount for an online credit card payment.

When combined with emailed invoices and integrated credit card processing, this new feature takes the work out of receivables processing, giving your customers an easy way to make payments when they receive their invoices.  You get paid without the long collections process, and without the clerical overhead of opening envelopes to process the checks you hope to get.

Medicare Coverage
The phone rings and the lady of the house answers, 'Hello.'

'Mrs. Sanders, please.'

'Speaking.'

'Mrs. Sanders, this is Doctor Jones at Saint Agnes Laboratory. When your husband's doctor sent his biopsy to the lab last week, a biopsy from another Mr. Sanders arrived as well. We are now uncertain which one belongs to your husband. Frankly, either way the results are not too good.'

'What do you mean?' Mrs. Sanders asks nervously.

'Well, one of the specimens tested positive for Alzheimer's and the other one tested positive for HIV. We can't tell which is which.'

'That's dreadful! Can you do the test again?' questioned Mrs. Sanders.

'Normally we can, but Medicare will only pay for these expensive tests one time.'

'Well, what am I supposed to do now?'

'The folks at Medicare recommend that you drop your husband off somewhere in the middle of town. If he finds his way home, don't sleep with him.'
