Prince's custom-built Yellow Cloud Guitar was purchased by noted guitar collector Jim Irsay for $137,500. The bright yellow solid-body electric guitar features all gold hardware, Schaller tuners, a Floyd Rose tremolo, single volume and tone knobs with a three-way switch and two EMG pickups. The 22-fret fingerboard is adorned on the front and sides with Prince's Love symbol.

A very rare, old-growth, one-piece Brazilian Rosewood top was selected as the backdrop for the hand-cut Mother of Pearl inlay and a two-tone Brazilian top that includes both sapwood and heartwood was used to create the effect of sky and horizon.
