The auction photos are ready for viewing, purchasing and bribing! One-Week-Only 2nd Chance Auction!

Starts Monday, April 18th, online
The auction committee will be running a one-week-only 2nd Chance Auction for some amazing-but-overlooked items from Noche de Carnaval. Among the items up for bidding:
- Four classroom art projects
- Some teacher experiences
- Tangible goods like signed Mariners Baseballs
- Painting birthday party and paintball passes
Catalog and bidding instructions here. Bidding opens Monday April 18 10:00 am and closes Monday April 25 at 9:00pm.

Our next Dining for Dinero event is Thursday, April 14th 3pm-9pm at Wayback Burgers (1645 140th Ave NE, Bellevue 98005).This is a great venue to meet with other friends and families. PTA-Sponsored Summer Camps: Registration is now open!

|
Check out the terrific PTA-sponsored summer camps offered by our Puesta del Sol teachers this summer! Your children can have fun with their friends participating in both cultural and educational activities while keeping up their Spanish language. There is also an English crash course for kids who want to work on their English language skills. Full-day and half-day camp options are available.

- Theater Works in Bellevue is offering summer theater camps for all ages and abilities (in July).

Legislative Advocacy
There are many things parents can do to advocate for Puesta del Sol in the legislature. The more the legislature does its job, the less the PTA has to take up the slack.
We strongly encourage parents (and teachers/staff) to join and follow Washington's Paramount Duty, a grassroots advocacy organization to get the WA state legislature to act on funding basic education.
